Black canvas, white stripe. In 1977 the Old Skool is the first Vans to carry the side stripe, drawn freehand by Paul Van Doren. Canvas and suede on the upper, a vulcanised Waffle sole, a reinforced toe. Black with the white stripe is the combination this model has shipped most.
