What it is, and who it is for
Checkerboard, black and white. The checkerboard turned up on Vans from the nineteen-seventies, drawn by skaters themselves on the side stripes before the brand took it up officially. The Slip-On made it famous. Printed canvas, side elastics, a vulcanised Waffle sole. No lacing at all, so the fit depends entirely on the size you choose.
