The PRM label signals leather and suede. The standard version uses synthetic instead. A stone beige covers the whole shoe, and only texture separates the mudguard from the mesh.
The 1987 Air Max 1 was the first shoe to let its Air unit show, an idea of Tinker Hatfield’s. Cushioning is modest by today’s standards.
