What it is, and who it is for
Black Cat runs the Air Max 1 entirely in black. The sole and the Air unit are included, which wipes out the usual contrast between mudguard and mesh, and only the texture still separates the suede from the leather. The 1987 model, drawn by Tinker Hatfield, stays the first to show an Air unit. Modest cushioning by current standards.
