What it is, and who it is for
Texture instead of contrast. The 740 mixes nylon, suede and leather on one upper, over a midsole in two blocks. Black covers everything and a dark metallic dresses the overlays, so the layering shows through texture alone. Encap cushioning under the heel, firmer than abzorb. A less common model than the 990 or the 550.
