What it is, and who it is for
Two archive models, folded together. The ASICS GEL-NYC takes the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and the GEL-MC Plus V into a shape meant for town. GEL cushioning at the heel, a mesh and suede upper, a low, wide line. Colourways run from greys and beiges to brighter versions. This is not a running shoe: ASICS keeps dedicated running ranges for that.
