The Mexico 66 was drawn for the 1968 Games and carries the first crossed stripes of the Japanese house ASICS, since become its signature. The thin sole and the low upper make it a town shoe more than a sports one. The heel carries a contrasting leather reinforcement.
This leather sneaker holds to beige and green. Beige leather cleans with a specialist milk rather than with soapy water. Green and beige make one of the most repeated pairings on this shape. The contrasting leather heel patch is an original detail of the 1968 model.
