The Italian designer Riccardo Tisci has worked with the American brand since 2012 and signs versions of this silhouette regularly. The TL carries columns along the whole length of the sole, unlike the R4 which keeps them at the heel. The pattern stays quiet on a black ground.
This sneaker pairs textile with a Shox sole. The black columns hide dust better than the pale versions of the range. The full-length columns give a ground height above that of the R4. The silver pattern shows mostly in direct light and disappears in shade. Black dominates from a distance.
