The Alphafly is the racing model of the American brand, with a carbon plate and two air pods housed under the forefoot. The third generation lightens the upper and slims the sole against the previous ones. It is meant for road racing, from ten kilometres to the marathon.
This knit running shoe holds its shape in wear. ZoomX foam wears fast if the shoe is used for daily training, which it is not built for. The air pods under the forefoot show through a clear window. The purple of the sole is the only deep colour on the whole pair. Nike says this model runs small: take half a size up from your usual.
