This light version is the counterpart to the black one from the same run, released at the same time. The gold of the Swoosh stays muted and does not tip into glitter, and the leather relaxes after a few days of wear. The flap covers the lacing the way it did on a pitch boot in the nineties.
This sneaker pairs synthetic leather with an Air sole. The cream soils quickly at the flap, an area that rubs against trouser legs. The gold dulls slowly with friction and loses some lustre after a year. Both Tiempo versions came out the same day, in comparable numbers. Nike says this model runs small: take half a size up from your usual.
