The fade starts black at the lacing and lightens towards the front of the foot, which stretches the shoe visually when you see it in profile. That is the principle of the original TN, applied here to a pink range far more saturated than the 1998 sunset.
The structured upper relaxes after a few outings. Pink stays bright through washing but fears repeated rubbing against dark jeans, which can tint it. Hot Punch is one of the deepest pinks in the house range, used mostly on the women’s lines. Nike says this model runs small: take half a size up from your usual.
