The Next Nature line uses a large share of recycled material, which the American brand flags with a tag stitched to the tongue. The surface reads slightly differently from traditional leather, a little flatter. The gold of the Swoosh stays muted and does not shine.
The material is a synthetic leather throughout. Clean the synthetic with a damp sponge. Leather milk would do nothing here, and the line tag on the tongue is what tells you where the materials came from. The gold of the Swoosh dulls slowly and loses some of its lustre after a year. Nike says this model runs large: take half a size down from your usual.
