What it is, and who it is for
Black covers the whole shoe, sole included. Released in 1982 as a basketball shoe, the Air Force 1 ended up living far longer on the street than on the court. This LV8 version keeps the original low cut.
The leather keeps some of the stiffness of the early days. It softens after a few outings. The Air unit sits in the heel, hidden but working.
In full black it goes with anything, and it stays clean longer than a white pair. Nike says this model runs large: take half a size down from your usual.
