RM marks a lightened reading of the shape, with a thinner sole and a shorter upper than the retro version. What comes out weighs less and goes on more easily day to day. Motorsports points at a blue and white colourway from 2003, redone here in metallic.
Synthetic leather and suede hold the shape through wear. Rubbing marks the metallic coating; wipe it with a soft cloth, never a brush. The suede gives a little over the weeks. RM reached the catalogue in 2023 across several shapes in the line.
