The name goes to a backboard broken during an exhibition game in Italy in 1985, and to the kit the player wore that day. This third version pushes patent across nearly the whole upper. A cream midsole recalls the aged reissues.
Patent leather holds the shape through wear. Patent cracks at the flex points over time, and no care routine prevents it. Three versions of this colourway have followed one another, each taking the patent further.
