The ZX 8000 came out in 1988 as the top running model of the ZX range, with the Torsion bar linking the forefoot to the heel. Consortium colourways go to a network of partner shops and tend to push colour combinations further. Four shades share one upper here.

Mesh and suede both keep their form with wear. Brush the suede parts dry; the mesh takes a damp cloth and mild soap, and the suede loosens a little over the weeks. The number 8000 marked the top of the ZX range at launch, ahead of the 6000 and 7000 in the same series.
