The motif draws on the traditional Chinese textiles that Edison Chen’s studio brings back into each of its collaborations. It is printed tone on tone so it reads without turning loud, and it sits alongside the German brand’s three stripes down the side of the leg. The waist cord is braided in two colours.
The cut stays loose and falls below the knee. A cold wash holds the print sharp; water that is too hot fades it. The printed pieces in this collaboration moved faster than the plain versions of the same series.
