What it is, and who it is for
Brown is an autumn tone, rarer here than blue. adidas drew the Spezial in German handball at the end of the seventies: thin gum sole, low suede upper, contrasting stripes. It has barely changed since.
The colour turns up less often on this silhouette than blue or green.
Like the Gazelle, it gives a direct feel of the ground, because there is almost no cushioning.
