The Lux take goes up a grade on material. Thick full-grain leather in place of corrected grain, metal eyelets, and an amber gum sole that yellows a little with time. Black covers everything, the three stripes included, visible only through the relief of the stitching. Dry comfort for the first few days, then the leather gives.
