The Whisper is the quietest of the brand’s trail shapes and slips under town trousers without drawing the eye the way an XT-6 does. It takes the same technical vocabulary all the same, from the cord lacing down to the lugged sole, in a build that is simply finer.
The Quicklace hides under the tongue once pulled tight. The mesh build gives this sneaker its hold. The Whisper arrived well after the XT-4 and the XT-6, as an answer to the criticism aimed at the volume of those two. Its sole stays lugged despite the fineness of the upper, which keeps decent grip on wet ground.
