What it is, and who it is for
The LD-1000 is a 1976 long-distance running shoe. Bill Bowerman drew it with an exaggeratedly wide heel sole to improve stability.
That flared sole was judged too extreme at the time and the model was pulled fairly fast.
Linen, Sail and Desert Ochre stay in natural tones. The nylon and the suede are faithful to the original build.
