What it is, and who it is for
The safari pattern is an embossing that imitates animal skin. It appeared at Nike in 1987 on the Air Safari.
Here it dresses the Swoosh alone, the rest of the upper staying in plain leather with an orange kumquat as an echo. The embossing is brushed dry.
